Just started a Heald Super Tryke project. Will post pics as soon as my niece shows me how and returns my camera. Purchased it from craigslist ad posted by a cat near where they were originally built. He turned me on to Power Tec. It is owned by a former employee and good friend of Carl Heald.
He sells everything to keep your Super tryke or Super Bronc moving under it's own power and a few resto goodies. Ron Kimball is the owner's name and I found him by googling 'Kimball Hauler' which is a four wheeled model he builds/built similar to the Super tryke. He is old school.
You call for your parts and he answers the phone, picks and ships your parts. Service is awesome and he sells the original tryke plans for $12. Hope this helps someone in need.
Does anyone remember the company back in the 70's and 80's that advertised 3 wheelers in farm magazines. It seems to me they were Harold brand but i can't seem to find any information if they are still in business.
I may be spelling the name wrong, but they were a red tube frame with bench seat and about 5' feet wide in the back. They used a 10hp briggs engine, belt drive, differential axle and chrome fenders.
The neighbors had one when i was a kid and it would go close to 40mph down the road and would do a donut right on a gravel road. Neat simple machines, just trying to find out if they are still in business. I think they also made two wheelers with float tires on them. Thanks for any replies. The neighbors that had one also were dairy farmers and used it to bring the cows in from pasture to milk. X-force keygen autocad lt 2014. It worked well unless you crossed deep water, then the belt would get wet and slip, otherwise it was a good machine. My parents were thinking of getting the bronco for my sister and me to help chase cattle but ended up buying a 80cc yamaha dirt bike for about the same money from the local bike dealer.
I think the bronco would have rode over the pasture holes and ruits easier than that little 80, but it was a good little bike too. Hi Moline guy, I also have the bench seat and when the kids were home it was on the machine, but I like the single seat so that's whats on it now. No the company is now gone, back in the early 90's when the 3 wheeler companies were being sued they (Heald) stopped building the 3 wheelers but continued with the 4 wheel heavy hauler until about 2000 when they sold the tooling/drawings to MTD (this is what I've learned. I would dearly love to an original 4 wheel heavy hauler they looked like a scaled down WWII jeep. Many parts are available from Kimball Industries in Benton Harbor, MI. GB in MN PS I forgot the original company filed for bankruptcy about the time of the 3 wheeler suits.

I got one of these Heald Haulers from a guy at work a couple years ago and it's the handiest thing I ever drug out of shed and got running. Has a 16hp Briggs horizontal and a belt clutch system similar to snowmobiles of the 70's, 500 pound cargo capacity, dump box, lights, and this one came with a lift kit for the rear axle to raise it up and go down the rows and spray soybeans with. My wife and I use it for gardening, hauling wood, rocks, etc and also for just giving the grandaughter a ride. Heald also made minibikes, 3-wheel speedsters with no cargo bed, and later on 4 wheel versions. With the tricylce setup you have to be careful turning.

Thanks Rating: N/A Votes: 0 Posted on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 - 10:43 pm: some do and some are the polyetheline type, the modle was made for a few years and attex went to polyetheline all at once one year and so it depend on the year & month yours was made, any holes in it?
Try some asatone on a rag somplace out of sight like inside the engine cover, dose it sofen the plastic? If eather question is yes than it's abs, otherwise polyetheline, Rating: N/A Votes: 0 Posted on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 - 10:43 pm: I have heard of the Heald trikes, but I don't know a lot about them. I do know that there were a couple different models, and also that they were sold as kits for the owner to assemble his or herself. If you learn any more about them, I'd be very apperciative if you'd pass it along on this post. I have recently found one that I may attempt to restore.

Approx 15 years ago there was a small company that manufactured kits where you could build lawn mowers and even a mini truck that was a one or two man vehicle that was powered by a Briggs and Stratton motor. This type of vehicle had a cab and could be outfitted with snow plows etc. Sort of like what John Deere is doing now.
I had heard rumors that the company is no longer existant but I am not sure. I remember having a catalog that was named 'Kits by Heald' This may be who made the lawn mower as they had a many types of equipment that were sold as self built kits, all parts included. I was 14 when I remember looking at the catalog and now at age 30 was curious as to what became of the company and low and behold found this site. If we are talking about the same product company, they were way ahead of their time and I think that most people were not prepared to spend the money that Heald wanted for their products that were very, very neat. Hope this helps.
Carl Heald Kits
(73 items) Just brought home my latest 'treasure'. It's about a 1980 Heald Super Tryke. 1980 according to the engine, that I believe is original. These were made in U.S.A. By Carl Heald, and sold in kit form. You assembled them yourself.
Heald sold several versions of trikes & 2 wheel minibikes as well, from about 1969 into the early 1980's. This one has an 11hp Briggs & Stratton engine with electric start.

That has one of these in his garage. I'd like to get some information from u about these bikes. If that would be OK with you. I look forward to talking with you., 4 years ago Hi, I don't really have any info on hand but there's a good bit available in the old magazine ads from the days when these kits were available. Sometimes the Healds will also come up in discussion on trike web-sties or threads. Some of the old advertising seems to have the most info & sometimes some specs.
